About This Project

After college, I decided to attend a comics course using the award I won for best student in illustration, 2009. Over the course of about five weeks, this was the result.

The idea came from when I was a baby, and how often I saw my own poop floating on the water. Whenever I saw the brown log facing me, I started to cry. For some reason I was scared of it. I guess I just didn’t know what the heck it was. So my mother would come into the bathroom and save me from the scary thing.

I showed this to many people and they say that the same happened to them as a baby. So I guess it’s normal… in a way.
